This mouse IgG1 lambda is purified using Protein A chromatography. It is produced from tissue culture media obtained at our facility in The United States. Antibody concentration was determined using an absorbance at 280 nm: 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG. This antibody reacts with recombinant Bovine Coronavirus nucleoprotein and virus lysates as determined by ELISA and western blotting. This product recognizes Bovine Coronavirus with immunofluorescence assay. Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator.

This antibody cocktail recognizes two melanoma-specific proteins, which include MART-1 and gp100. MART-1 is a newly identified melanocyte differentiation antigen recognized by autologous cytotoxic T lymphocytes. Function of gp100 is not known but it is reported to be a useful marker for melanocytes and melanomas. A cocktail of these two markers is sensitive for labeling formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded melanomas and other tumors showing melanocytic differentiation.

Spectrin is an actin binding protein that is a major component of the plasma membrane skeleton. Spectrins function as membrane organizers and stabilizers by forming dimers, tetramers and higher polymers. Signaling from the ligand-activated membrane receptor serine/threonine kinases to nuclear targets is mediated by a set of evolutionarily conserved proteins known as DPC4. GP2 (glycoprotein 2), also known as ZAP75, is a 537 amino acid secreted protein. Multiple isoforms of CD45R are distributed throughout the immune system according to cell type. These isoforms arise because of alternative splicing of exons 4, 5, and 6. The corresponding protein domains are characterized by the binding of monoclonal antibodies specific for CD45RA (exon 4), CD45RB (exon 5), CD45RC (exon 6) and CD45RO (exons 4 to 6 spliced out).
